Nicole Leigh Shaw began writing as a newspaper journalist in 1999, but has been moving through all the metamorphic stages of the modern writer, except "tortured novelist." Soon she'll emerge as a butterfly or a vlogger. Nicole writes for Cosmopolitan.com, ScaryMommy.com, and has contributed to four anthologies, including the NYT Best Seller "I Just Want to Pee Alone." 

In addition to her four kids, two dogs and one husband, she also maintains a blog, a Facebook page, and a Twitter account.

Nicole began her writing career as a beat reporter for North Jersey's Suburban Trends. She covered all the news and features for a two-borough beat. She also freelanced for Business Travel Executive Magazine. Later, she worked for Oxford University Press, Journals, as a production editor. 

Moms Fort Wayne

Nicole writes for "Moms," niche publication for Fort Wayne Newspapers. You can read her every-other-month humor columns in the magazine's print publication.

Glo Magazine

Nicole also writes monthly piece for Home Living Indoor+Outdoor magazine, foucusing on home decor trends and spotlights on local businesses in the home decorating and home building industries.

Nicole is not just a humorist. In addition to her creative work in comedy, she's penned marketing materials, scripts, pitched treatments for television, and does content editing for anthologies. 

Nicole is also an emcee and a speaker. Most recently she was the emcee for the The Blog University's 2014 and 2015 blog conference, as well as the conference's sponsorship coordinator.

She has also appeared on stage reading her original work for Listen to Your Mother 2013 and That's What She Said 2013

Since 2014, Nicole has worked with Luvs as a part of the Luvs Diapers and Wipes Motherboard. There she creates original humor content and leads social media activations, along with the other talented members of the Luvs Motherboard.
